There's A Hanson Beer, And It Is Called MMMHop

By: Josh Harrison

New drinking buddies!
Quick! Think of a tie-in product for unforgettable 90s pop group Hanson! TEN SECONDS, MACGRUBER! And... time. What'd you come up with? Was it a Hanson beer called MMMHop? If not, you are probably not a member of Hanson. You are probably also insanely jealous. That will pass.
According to a report from The Star, the pop trio has joined forces once again to create an India Pale Ale. They're planning to release it next year. This is actually a thing. The Star (by way of The Mary Sue, the site that did the Kessel Run in has some quotes from a recent Zac Hanson university appearance concerning this latest evolution of the Hanson brand:
"We of course make records, they are fundamental to what we do, but we wanted to create a brand so that our fans have a greater experience. What is vital is that Hanson merchandise is quality and not made solely with the purpose of profit."
Zac explained that though Hanson has a board game and even a record player, the band won't ever put its name on dolls, lunch boxes, or lame musical toothbrushes. Instead, they're focusing their latest efforts on a product that just may give you the courage to belt out "Where's The Love?" in front of your co-workers at the next office party.
And here, of course, is the kicker:
"It's vital our fans have trust in everything Hanson do. In fact we are soon going to be selling our own beer, I'm not even joking," said Zac. "MMMHop IPA anyone?"
Not gonna lie--and maybe this is just my inner 90s kid talking? But Hanson beer sounds incredible. I'm down. Although I'd also like to sample Arnold Schwarzenegger's Kindergarten Hop, Eddie Murphy's Beverly Hills Hop, or the Ramones' Blitzkrieg Hop.
I should definitely have been the fourth Hanson brother.
