A selection of events hapening today

POP MUSIC

Hanson. Yes, that Hanson. The formerly teenage band of pretty-boy brothers Isaac, Taylor and Zac Hanson is still around. They're back with another album of impossibly peppy pop songs, their eighth, called Shout It Out. They play at Club Soda, 1225 St. Laurent Blvd., with Jarrod Gorbel at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $34.15. Call 514-286-1010. (T'Cha Dunlevy)

DANCE

Sadari Movement Laboratory, a contemporary dance company from South Korea, makes its local debut in Woyzeck by company founder Do-wan Im. To the sounds of Astor Piazzolla's modern tango, the dance-actors deftly arrange and re-arrange chairs in a series of dramatic tableaux that relate the sad story of Woyzeck and his doomed love. Stark and intense, but fascinating in its mix of cultures. At 8 p.m. in the Cinquieme Salle of Place des Arts. Tickets cost $24.81; $15.94 for under-30 years. Call 514-842-2112. (Victor Swoboda)
