Pop band Hanson to walk around Stroudsburg for charity Friday

STROUDSBURG — Pop band Hanson will walk around Stroudsburg this Friday to raise money for charity before performing an evening concert.

Brothers Isaac, Taylor and Zac Hanson will lead the one-mile walk around town, beginning and ending at the Sherman Theater on Main Street. The walk begins at 3 p.m. and will last between 30 and 45 minutes.

Halfway through the walk, the brothers will address the crowd.
Hanson's “Take The Walk” campaign raises money for several charities helping to fight poverty and AIDS in Africa.

For every person participating in the walk, Hanson will donate $1 to charity. Anyone who would like to participate in the walk needs to pre-register in order to be counted. A registration table will be set up outside the Sherman beginning at 1:45 p.m. Friday.

Reserved seats for Hanson's concert at the Sherman, which begins at 8 p.m., are still available. For tickets or more information, go to www.shermantheater.com.
