MOUNDS, Oklahoma -- The Hanson home in Mounds is going on the auction block next month. The house and 120 acres of land just south of Tulsa are being sold at 4:30 p.m. on November 10, 2011.
The home was built in 1985 and has six bedrooms and five baths. Located near 221st Street South and Harvard, the Hanson home has a pool and cabana, a recording studio and a barn on the property.
According to the Williams and Williams Auction, the family moved into the home because of a growing need for privacy and seclusion. It's located just 25 minutes from downtown Tulsa.
The Hanson family, whose three oldest sons make up the rock/pop musical group HANSON, remodeled the home to accommodate a growing family.
The home was designed by Jack Arnold and will be open for bidders to check out on Sunday, October 30, 2011.
