Happy Birthday, Taylor Hanson!

Taylor Hanson has MMMBopped his way into another year. The Hanson brothers' resident middle brother (and the original Joe Jonas, by all accounts) celebrates his birthday today, as Jordan Taylor Hanson turns 28 years old.

Taylor and his brothers Issac and Zac leaped into pop music superstardom in 1997 when they released their debut album, Middle of Nowhere. It spawned the inescapable hit of that year in "MMMBop," a bouncy, hum-it-til-your-ears-bleed pop ditty about living life to the fullest, which was pretty deep material for a teenager to be singing about. Back then, the guys all had long, flowing locks and even though they've lopped off the hair, they've managed to churn out fun records in the decade and a half since that album first made waves.

Over the years, Taylor (who grew up to be quite the looker) has established himself as a certified pop leading man, not only serving as Hanson's lead singer and keyboardist, but also appearing with his side project Tinted Windows (alongside Cheap Trick's Bun E. Carlos, Fountains of Wayne's Adam Schlesinger and the only Smashing Pumpkins member who knows how to have a good time, James Iha).

Last year, Hanson released, Shout It Out, which featured the viral video sensation for the song, "Thinking Bout Somethin'," and their latest single, the equally catchy, "Give A Little." In honor of Taylor's birthday, crank up the awesome "Penny & Me," which came from the group's 2004 album Underneath, the first they ever put out on their own label.
