The brothers of the group Hanson are all grown up, and they are
launching their own beer label called MMMHop, which is an Indian Pale
Ale. This is, of course, a play on their insanely popular song, MMMBop.
Is this new Hanson
brew a bad idea? The name is unusual for sure, and most people who want
a beer certainly don't think of the group of brothers, Isaac, Taylor
and Zac, from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Of the new beer MMMHop, Zac said,
"We of course make records, they are fundamental to what we do, but we
wanted to create a brand so that our fans have a greater experience." Do
you normally want beer from the musicians whose music you listen to? It
seems like it's a bit of a stretch.
Regardless of how you feel
about the new Hanson beer, it's supposed to hit shelves sometime in
early 2012, so you won't have to wait too long to try it if you're so
inclined.
What an interesting choice for the Hanson franchise. Do
you think you'll try MMMHop anytime soon? It actually sounds like it
might taste good if you can get past the name.
