Cain's Ballroom this week announced five upcoming concerts, including local band of brothers Hanson on Sept. 11.
Also performing will be Big Gigantic on Aug. 25, country singer-songwriter Jamey Johnson on Sept. 29, popsters Cut Copy on Oct. 3 and Chromeo on Oct. 21. For more on ticket prices and on-sale dates, visit tulsaworld.com/cains All shows are all-ages.
Hanson's "Musical Ride Tour" spans the trio's 15-year career, and fans will be able to vote for the concert setlist via its official website, tulsaworld.com/hanson Tickets for Hanson start at $26, on sale 10 a.m. Saturday at Cain's Box Office, all Reasor's grocery stores, Starship Records and Ida Red. Voting starts Monday. The show will include career highlights and music from their acclaimed fifth studio album, "Shout It Out," including the single "Give A Little."
"This tour is a unique way of saying thank you to the many fans that have followed the band for years, who will, for the first time, get a chance to help shape the show they see each night," said drummer Zac Hanson in a press statement.
"Shout It Out" debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard independent charts to acclaim. The videos for both singles "Give A Little" and "Thinkin 'Bout Somethin'" were filmed in Tulsa.
