The other Hanson Bros.
It has been 14 years since "MMMBop." You can admit you loved that prime piece of pop perfection and the boys who sang it. It's high time for a revisionist look at Hanson, no? They's all growed-up now; the fraternal Tulsa trio of Isaac, Taylor and Zac are all married men with eight kids between them. Their most recent album, "Shout It Out," might be a year old, but you can see them these days alongside Kenny G., Debbie Gibson, Corey Feldman, Darren Criss ("Glee") and Rebecca Black in Katy Perry's new video, "Friday Night." Or you can catch them doing what they do best Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Northern Lights in Clifton Park. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Saturday.
Family Atmosphere

The Minneapolis hip-hop group has been thriving and surviving since 1989, fronted by the duo of Slugand AntAtmosphere, indeed. Helping them out at the show are special guests Evidence, Blueprintand Prof
MASS MoCA molars?
Roomful of Teethmay sound like the subtitle of a sequel in the "Saw" horror movie series, but it's actually an inventive vocal ensemble based at Williams College. In their own words, the group "studies and incorporates nonclassical vocal practices, combines them with western styles, and develops new compositions using the fullest possible range of vocal techniques." For their Friday, Aug. 26, show at MASS MoCA in North Adams, Mass., they welcome Williams composer-in-residence Merrill Garbus, who has charmed the indie music world with her current project, tUnE-YarDs, which combines raw folk and the "pop sensibility of an R&B siren."
