The guys in Hanson have announced an extensive fall tour that will take the brothers across the country for dozens of shows in large theaters and clubs.
The dates were announced today, along with the news that Hanson fans will get to partially choose the setlist for each show. Drummer Zac Hanson said, “This tour is a unique way of saying thank you to the many fans that have followed the band for years, who will, for the first time, get a chance to help shape the show they see each night.”
The trek begins on August 28 in Los Angeles at Sunset Junction and proceeds across to the east coast, finishing with a bang with two dates at Disney World in Orlando, Fla. Other highlights include a date in western Canada, another in the band’s hometown of Tulsa, Okla., and two shows at the House of Blues in Chicago.
Hanson are still promoting their 2010 release ‘Shout It Out,’ which has produced the peppy singles ‘Thinking ‘Bout Somethin” and ‘Give a Little.’ In the past month, the boys have appeared in a Katy Perry music video and been the inspiration for a “Weird Al” Yankovic-style parody.
