Fully grown Hanson plays Chameleon Club

Circa 1997, it was hard to not have an opinion of the pop music group Hanson. Brothers Isaac, Taylor and Zac Hanson are best known for the overwhelmingly popular single "MMMBop," which was unavoidable on television or radio for months after its release. The band’s catchy, innocent melodies were derided as overly saccharine by some, but that didn’t impact their success, as "MMMBop" alone reached number 1 on the charts of more than twenty countries and was nominated for two Grammys.

The brothers began performing at very young ages, beginning in the early 90s with a capella performances of songs such as “Rockin’ Robin” and “Splish Splash.”

At the height of their popularity, the youngest brother Zac had yet to ever go through puberty - still performing today means that the band must now sing their songs in a lower key than they once did. But the group is still recording, and their most recent album, “Shout it Out,” was released in 2010 on their own independent label, 3GC Records.
