The Oklahoma History Center's "Another Oklahoma Night: A Rock & Roll Exhibit" is coming to Tulsa.
After spending nearly a year on display in Oklahoma City, portions will now be open to the public on the OSU-Tulsa campus Main Hall, 700 N. Greenwood Ave.
More details are expected at a 1:30 p.m. press conference at the university campus, organizers confirmed.
Oklahomans continue to be at the forefront of the music industry.
"The announcement that Leon Russell is to be inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this spring just makes the point that Oklahomans in rock 'n' roll are considered among the leaders in this genre of music," Jeff Moore, a director of the exhibit, said last year.
"We thought this would be a natural (move to Tulsa)," Moore said, "since so much of the rock 'n' roll exhibit featured Tulsa recording artists. There is a great deal of interest in Tulsa in commemorating this part of their history and heritage."
