Hanson Performed to Save 100 Club

The brothers took part in the initiation to save the legendary venue in London from being demolished

Pop stars have thrown their weight behind the campaign to save London's legendary 100 Club - by playing a free gig at the venue. The "MMMBop" hitmakers performed at the tiny underground club on Tuesday, February 1 night and made sure their loyal following caught the show by allowing fan club members to the front of the line. 

Brothers Isaac Hanson, Taylor Hanson and Zac Hanson agreed to play the concert as part of a campaign to save the venue, which has hosted pre-fame gigs by the , The Jam, and .

The 100 Club, on Oxford Street, is under threat of closure due to soaring rents in central London. Stars including Sir and Ronnie Wood have called for the venue to be saved, and Sir played a sold-out show there in December as part of the campaign.
